FIRST in Mansfield, WEST-INGHOUSE 1963 COLOR TV. Sec them now at Tucker's Furniture 99 Park Avenue West. HOW DOES ALL OF THIS RELATE TO OUR MODERN RELIGIOUS WORLD? Let me say that I strongly disagree with Roman Catholic theology. They are unscriptural in their teachings on purgatory, celibacy of the priesthood, praying to images of saints. Papal infallibility, and above all their Maryolitry.

However, I believe that the Sadducees within the Protestant church are far more heretical and deadly in their opposition to the truth of Bible Christianity than are our Roman Catholic friends. Romanism at least believes in the supernatural which is the very essence of Christianity! We who believe the Bible to be the inspired word of God differ with Roman Catholics on only four of the twenty-four major tenets of Christianity, while we differ with liberal, miracle-denying. Sadducee Protestants on twenty of the twenty-four major doctrines! I was talking in my office in Rochester, New York with a professor of the Colgate Divinity School some years ago. We were discussing the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He said that he believed in the resurrection of Christ.

I asked him if he believed that Christ bodily, literally arose from the dead and that the tomb was empty on Easter morning. He stood to his feet in disgust and anger and replied, "Mr. Allen, if you are so naive as to believe in a literal resurrection of Christ, then there is no use of our having any further discussion." He then took his coat and bid me goodby. He said that Christ was alive in the same sense that Abraham Lincoln is alive. The spirit and principles that Linucoln stood for are still alive! This is the sense in which he said Christ was alive.

What horrible blasphemv to be teaching seminary students! Liberal Bishop McConnell of the Methodist Church said in one of his hooks, "The bones of Christ are still bleaching in the sands of Palestine." This Sadduceeism that, like a trojan horse, has taken over our maior seminaries and colleges, is the most dangerous threat to Christianity of anything on earth, and IT'S THE TRUTH!
