Paul railroad with John C. Burns, formerly of this city. Mr. Burns has been legal council for the railroad company mentioned for some tlni. The two Mansflold men will travel in a special car belonging to the company and will start on the trip at Chicago.

They will go over the entire lino and its branches and will travel a distance of 8,000 miles or more befoa they get through with their pilgrl- mage. To say that it will be a fine trip and very enjoyable is putting It mild ly. Seven Inch Ralls A force of men of the Mansfield Railway company was set to work this morning digging up the East Fourth street pavement be tween Main and Diamond streets. The company intends putting down new seven-inch rails at this point to take tho place of the old five and three- quarters inch rails, formerly used on Fark avenue west. The East Fourth street switch, used in conjunction with that on the opposite thorough fare, is also to be lengthened and rendered more convenient.

The work will be completed in a few days and thon the Spring Mill street switch, lo cated Just north of the B. O. depot Is to be made larger and when done will reach nearly to Maude avenue. The railway company has been experiencing all kinds of trouble at this point, inasmuch as the M. and city cars often assemble here simultaneously.
