Mrs. Poindexter has been giving a series of parties but this is the first one she gave out to the papers. This little informal affair might not have appeared in the paper, had not Officers Ford and Berry, gone to the dusky gathering, without an invitation. Mrs. Poindexter served a dainty one course luncheon of beer.

The hostess let them know she didn't want any "white trash" coming to her party so she ordered them out. The unbidden guests tried to get Mrs. Poindexter to go to bed, but she refused. It is against all rules of atiquet for the hostess to retire when she is entertaining and the festivities are at their heighth. Finding the hostess could not be persuaded to retire, the officers next requested her to put her shoes and stockings on and they would find suitable lodgings for her.

WATCHFUL WAITING IS CALLED TO CLOSE Mayor Tells Police to Enforce Light and Speed Sections of Traffic Rules. Mayor Lowrey today told police to start arresting automobile drivers who ignored rules pertaining to speeding and dimming of lights.

So far as these features of council's new traffic ordinance 1g concerned the "watchful waiting" policy has closed. "The dimming section is the same the state over," the mayor said "and every driver should be aware of it by this time. The speed clause is no different than heretofore." Police say they are experiencing but little trouble with the light question. Comparatively few cars, they say, are now being driven with bright and blinding lights. Considerable trouble, however, is being had with speeders and numerous complaints are coming into the department.

The fine in many cities has been set at $25 and costs for this offense. In Mansfield, however, it has for some time been the customary $8:60. Street signs calling attention to the fact parking of cars is not allowed 1 in certain sections as well as streets in which one way traffic only is permissible will be placed by the end of the week, it is said today. Officials feel they have given drivers every opportunity to become familiar with all sections of the new traffic ordinance before taking steps which would lead to arrests. Orders today however, are to drop the "cautioning only" plan on all sections save the parking one.

An attack of neuralgia does not give immunity but recurrences are the rule. The same nerve is affected which means that this particular nerve has lost its resistance and that there will be recurring attacks until the strength of the nerve is built up. How can the strength of a nerve be restored? The nerves are nourished tirely by the blood and weak nerves are toned up by supplying to the blood the elements that the nerves lack. As the general health and strength of the patient are built up the nerves resume, their normal functions, inflammation caused by lack of nutrition disappears the neuralgic attacks cease. "Dr.
