TOATTEND SESSION. Sarah Pfeifer Auxiliary No. 4 met at North Lake park pavilion Wednesday for a covered-dish dinner. Mrs. Forest Long of Butler and Mrs.

Margaret Baldwin of Philadelphia were guests. Plans to take part in the district convention of the auxiliary that is being held in Ashland Sunday were made. Mrs. William Trisler, president, conducted the short business fleeting. The dinner table was decorated with spring flowers and large birthday cake in honor of the birthday of William Trister.

The next meeting will be held May 7 in the courthouse. 1 1 1 Miss Marjorie Jane Boa Is, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. D.

Boats, 568 Highland avenue, has been chosen by the members of the Ohio State chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity as "The Dream Girl of Pi Kappa Alpha" for the district convention to be held in Columbus, May 2, 3 and 4, and will be queen of the dance to be given on May 3. Miss Boats is an honor student at Ohio State and a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. Miss Salsgiver is employed at the Mansfield-Leland hotel and Mr. Weiland at the Ohio Brass company. WEDDING POSTPONED.

The wedding of Miss Carolyn Buzenski and Louis Tridico which was scheduled to-take place Sat. urday at the St. Peter's Catholic church has been postponed, according to announcement being made today. WOLF HOSTESS. Ten members of the Druscilla club and two guests, Mrs.

Ella Lang of Toledo and Mrs. Dale Muth, attended the meeting of the club Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. A. O. Wolf, Helen avenue.

Contests were enjoyed during the social hour and prizes were given to Mrs. Della Cairns, Mrs. Dan Long and Mrs. John Barr. Later a luncheon was served at one long table decorated with a centerpiece of violets.

The next meeting of May 15 will be held at the home of Mrs. John Ilartenfels, 152 Lexington avenue, a PLAN PARTY. Love and Friendship class members of May Rowel' Congregational church met recently at the church. Mrs. Ralph Bloom, Mrs.

Harry Ross and Miss Imogene Bennett led the devotions. Mrs. Bloom, president, conducted the business session. Plans to hold the fourth yearly birthday party of the club April 23 at the church were made. A social evening was spent after the business meeting.

The next meeting will be held May 13 at the home of Mrs. Robert Odson, 205 Home avenue. THIRD DISTRICT. Twenty members and two guests, Mrs. Charles Hart and Miss Millie Davis, attended the meeting of the Third district of the First Lutheran church Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mrs.

LeRoy McGinty, 166 Vennum avenue. Following the business session Mrs. W. H. Wolford Conducted the devotions.

Mrs. McGinty then gave an interesting paper on "Queen Wilhelmina," which was written by Mrs. Earl Paxton. The next meeting will be held May 21 at the church. Assisting Mrs.

Members of the Lucky 13 class of St. Johns Evangelical church met Thursday with Miss Mariann Boebel and Mrs. Marie Hubner as hostesses. Miss Ida Tomits and Mrs. Hubner led the devotions.

Aliss Lillian Berry gave a report. Mrs. Anna Dupre gave a report on the mother-daughter program the class is sponsoring. Games were and prizes awarded Miss Tomits, Mrs. Ruth Ferguson and Miss Jean Gilbert.

Lunch WWI served at a table decorated with blue and gold appointments. The next meeting will be held May 20 with Miss Tomits and Mrs. Ferguson as hostesses. CLASS MEETING. Members of the Martin Luther class of the St.

Matthew's Lutheran church will meet for a covered dislf dinner Tuesday at 6 p. m. in the basement of the church. Mr. and Mrs.

Robert Myers and Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Ryan will be in charge. ENTERTAIN GROUP, Mrs. Clyde Pittman entertained members of the Tanguay club at her home on Gilbert avenue Thursday afternoon.

Bridge was played and prizes won by Mrs. Norman IIakes, and Mrs. Elmer Gottfried. Lunch was served at the close of the meeting at tables decorated with spring flowers. The next meeting will be held May at the home of Mrs.

Richard Burgett, Arch street. JOLLY TIMES CLUB. Mrs. Clark Stutz, 118 Arthur avenue, was hostess to members of the Jolly Times club at her home Wednesday evening. Twelve members and three guests, Mrs.

Fred Hall, Mrs. Teresa Balliett and Miss Elizabeth Horning, were present. Following a business meeting a social hour was enjoyed with Mrs. William Schuff winning the prize. Later fan-tan was the diversion with score gifts being presented to Mrs.

T. J. Brucato and Mrs. Charles Daugherty. At the close of the games a luncheon was served at small tables.

The next meeting on April 30 will held at the home of Mrs. Earl Burns, Bowman street. UTRS. NV. B.

SINGER, and son, Richard Lee, of New York I'll visiting with Mrs. Singer's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Crider, 402 Springmill street, for a two week vacation. Mrs.

Roy Dahmer and Mrs. Ida Swank of Detroit and Lincoln Park, have been visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hill, Wolfe avenue, and with other friends for the past few days. They are former residents of Mansfield.

Anastasia Nail and Mrs. Cook, Wednesday afternoon at her home. Five hundred was the diversion following luncheon at the noon hour, The group was served at small tables which were decorated with spring flowers. Score prizes for the game were won by Mrs. 'Chloe Linkhart, Mrs.

Maude Schrack. Mrs. Nail and Mrs. Linkhart won the traveling prize. The next meeting will be held May 14 with Mrs.

Rhea Bauer hostess at the home of Mrs. Schmitz. One new member, Mrs. George Hanawald, was welcomed into the club. MISSIONARY SESSION.

Mrs. R. D. Anderson and Mrs. J.

W. Waddell were hostesses to members of the Women's Missionary society of the United Presbyterian church Wednesday after. noon in the church parlors. Eighteen were in attendance with Mrs. W.

E. Shane conducting the business meeting. Mrs. George Riel led the devotions and Mrs. D.

E. Craig was in charge of the program with the topic concerning, "The Beginning of the Christian Church." Later refreshments were served by the hostesses. The next meeting will be held May 21 at the home of Mrs. J. C.

Brant, South Main street, with Mrs. Orlan lloyer as associate hostess. Miss Helen Brown will be in charge of the program. FLOWERS Friends of Mr. and Mrs Eugene Alimy will be Interested to know they have arrived back in Mansfield and plan to make this their home.

They were married In Yuma, In March. Mrs. Almy was formerly Kitty Jane Birch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Birch, 390 Wood street.

For the present they are residing with Mr. Airily's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Almy, 129 Rae avenue. Mrs.

William Bishop was a guest at the meeting of the CoOperettes club Thursday evening and reviewed the play, "Life With FAther," by Day. The meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Ralph Wharton, 366 North Town. view circle, with 16 members and the one guest present. Mrs.

LeRoy McGinty, vice presi. dent, conducted the business ses sion at which time plans were made to sew and knit for the Red Cross during the summer months. Arrangements were completed for the charter party to be held on May 12 at the Women's Club. Husbands of the members will be guests for the meeting and a din. ner will be served at 6:30 p.

Mrs. James Kuneman, Wolfe avenue, was hostess to eleven members. Roll. call was answered by current events after which a routine business meeting was held. Later a luncheon was served at one long table which was decorated with spring flowers.

The next meeting of the club will be held May 15 for annual election of officers. Miss Marie Kalbfleisch will he hostess at her home, West Fourth street at that time, with Mrs. C. If. Bee giving the paper on "Early American Furniture." GUILD Ladies Guild members of the Mayflower Congregational church met Thursday at the home of Mrs.

Albert Frank, 597 Maple street. Mrs. Ada Lurz, vice president, conducted the business session. A social time was spent after the business meeting. Mrs.

Lurz, 207 Harker street, will hold the next meeting at her home May 13. ONE GUEST PRESENT. 1 Mrs. Emma Oh ler, Trimble road, was hostess to members of the Krazy Quilters club Thursday atternon at her home. Mrs.

Lois Zeigler was a guest present and the group en)oyed sewing and contests. Mrs. Zeigler received the prize. Later a luncheon was served with decorations in the club's colors, blue and gold. Spring flowers formed a pretty centerpiece.

At each place was miniature umbrellas which were given as favors. The next meeting on May 15 will be held at the home of Mrs. Elizabeth Kosmider, South Boulevards. LUNCHEON MEETING. Mrs.

O. T. Van Auker, 132 Pop. lar street, was hostess to members of the Mada club at her home Thursday afternoon. The group enjoyed a covered-dish luncheon and were seated at one long table attractively decorated with spring flowers.

Sewing was the diversion of the afternoon. The next meeting on May 15 will be held at the home of Mrs. Bert Gray, Poplar street. ATLAS CLUB. Mrs, Martin Bricker, Gibson avenue, was hostess to members of the Atlas club at her home last evening.

The time was spent so daily and at the close of the evening luncheon was served buffet style. The next meeting will be held May 1 at the home of Mrs. Cecil Cramer. Lexington avenue. a Mrs.

Jane Neff, district senior vice president of the W. R. of Mansfield and Mrs. Thomas Ridenour of Crest line, wife of the de. partment commander of the G.

A. R. of Ohio were in Columbus last evening attending a banquet given by the Columbus corps. Following the banquet a reception was given in honor of the state department officers. Miss Mary Thompson and Miss Gloria Kline will be guests of John Keller and Robert Moorhead, students at Ohio State university, at a school dance at Memorial hall in Columbus Saturday Crescendo club activities are now in the hands of Miss Patricia Hieber, the newly elected president, who was, appointed Thursday evening at a meeting held at the home of David Talbot, 720 Woodhill road.

Assisting her will be Todd Strominger, vice president; Miss Carol secretary; and I larvey Todd, treasurer. The program was presented In the Um of a recital with Richard Sparks, Miss Kirkland and Miss Olive Jean Hughes playing several piano solos, Miss Helen nagelbarger, cello solos and Miss Ruth' llockett, flute selections. Twenty were in attendance, including one guest, Aliss Gladys Kerr, who served as accompaniest. RAINBOW ASSEMBLY. The semi-monthly meeting of the Rainbow Assembly for was held at the K.

of P. hall Wednesday evening. Plans were made for the group to make a tour of the Oh State Reformatory Thursday after which a theater party was held. On April 26 the girls will nave a formal dance at Grotto hall and on May 10 there will be a Mother-Daughter banquet. Obligatory day will be observed Mrs.

I. W. Basinger, district director of the Parent-Teachers' Council for the past four years, was given a life membership in the P. T. A.

in recognition of. her services, at a' district conference held in Fremont Thursday. Twenty-two were in attendance from Mansfield, including Dr. Mabel Emery Huston, district health chairman, and Robert Y. Davis, state radio chairman.

Brief talks were given by Dr. lIuston and Mr. Davis. Mrs. Andrew Rawson of Lorain county P.

Ray Paulson, 205 Fairlawn avenue, with Mrs. Robert Kern as associate hostess. At that time the topic will be "Reverence and Right Living" to be given by Mrs. Ben Goodenough and Mrs. Robert Bair.

During the business meeting plans were made to hold a roller skating party on May 29 in charge of Miss Virginia Horst, captain of the losing team in a recent contest. At the close of the evening the host served refreshments from a table centered with a large cake on which was the name Crescendo. Spring flowers were also used as decorations.
