11 Ohio Edison GALION Michael LeRoy Claytor, 26, 421 Windsor Ave, Marion, was killed Friday after on while working, at the station Hunter south elec- of Galion in Morrow County. Dr. B. P. Mansfield, Crawford County coroner, ruled the death due to accidental electrocution.

Claytor had first, second and third degree burns over his entire body. Claytor, an employe of the Ohio' Edison was working on a 40 foot girder when he came into contact with a 69,000 volt line. Paul H. Leasure, 46, of Delaware, supervisor at the sub station, had attempted to give Claytor mouth to mouth resusitation when Claytor was brought down from the girder. Leasure was treated and released from Galion Community Hospital for shock.

Electrical power for the city of Galion was off between 12:56 p.m. and 1:42 p.m. Friday because of the accident. Another man was electrocuted at the same station in June, 1970. Claytor was born in Marion in April, 1946, spending most of his life in Shelby.

He was an eight year veteran of the United States Navy, moving to Marion after his discharge two years ago. He was employed by the Ohio Edison Co. as a mechanic in sub station construction. wife, Kathleen Sheets ClayHe is, survived by his tor; one daughter, Elizabeth Marie at home; his father, Lewis Clark of Marion; his mother and step father, Mr. and Mrs.

Thomas Claytor of Shelby and four brothers, Tom Claytor with the U. S. Marines, Barry Claytor, with the US. Army, Brian and Randy, both of Shelby. Services will be held in the J.

H. Finefrock Sons Funeral Home Monday at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev. Richard Yaussy pastor of the Ontario Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m.

Sunday. Mrs. Freudiger Mrs. Dorothy (Crawford) Freudiger, of 561 Cleveland Del Ray Beach, wife of Beryl Freudiger, died Friday morning following a brief illneSs. She was born in Mansfield and prior to moving to Florida lived at 111 Sturges Ave.

Worker She was a retired teacher in the Mansfield public school system and a lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one' niece, Mrs. Richard A. (Sandra Hout) Fankhauser of Miramar, Fla. Friends will be received at the Jones Memorial Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Monday where services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in charge of the Rev. Robert A. Baker, pastor of First United Methodist Church. Burial will be made in Mansfield Cemetery.

Floyd M. Chew Floyd M. Chew, 78, of 152 South Foster died Friday afternoon in Mansfield General after an extended illness. He was born Feb. 24, 1894, in Richland County and had lived here all his life.

Mr. Chew was a retired employe of John Hall Distributing a member of the First English Lutheran Church and the Owls and Eagles lodges. Surviving are his wife, Fern Miller Chew; one son, Melvin L. and one daughter, Mrs. Leo (Emma) Mowry, both of Mansfield; three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Services will be held in the Wappner Funeral Home Monday at 1 p.m. by his pastor, the Rev. Jerry Schmalenberger. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday afternoon and evening.

Malcolm Duncan Malcolm John Duncan, 79, of 324 Charles died Thursday in East Orange, N.J., while visiting his daughter. Mr. Duncan was born in Georgia on May 15, 1893, and was a retired employe of Empire Detroit Steel and a veteran of World War I. He was superintendent of Sunday School at the Temple of Faith, Church of God in Christ for many years. He also was head of the deacon board and a member of the board of trustees of the church.

He is survived by three sons, Malcolm of Burlington, Iowa, and George Anthony and Thomas Gerald, both of Mansfield; five daughters, Mrs. Eunice Blackwell of Clewiston, Mrs. Betty Williams of East Orange, N.J., and Mrs. Pauline Johnson, Mrs. Janice Todd and Mrs.

Hannah Hilliard, all of Mansfield; 28 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Arrangements in charge of the David Gary Funeral. Home are incomplete. Mrs. Sloan Killed Mrs.

Helen Beeler Sloan, 778 West Fourth died Friday in Mansfield General Hospital following an extended illness. She was born in Shreve and lived in the Mansfield area most of her life. Mrs. Sloan attended St. Luke's Lutheran Church.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Private graveside services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the Mansfield Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Michael Goldner. There will be no calling hours at the Wappner Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to any charitable organization of the donor's choice. Name Omitted The name of Mrs. Dorothy Mae Owens, of Mansfield, a daughter, was unintentionally omitted from the survivors of John Harris, 95, of 284 Longview listed in yesterday's News Journal. The name of another daughter, Mrs. Anna B.

Vernon, 65, of 105 Shelby Shelby, died Friday afternoon after suffering a heart attack at the Ohio Steel Tube where he worked. Born in Sonora, O. he lived in Shelby for 22 years. He had been the owner and operator of the former Wal- nut St. grocery and was later employed at the Hohler's Market.

He worked at Ohio Steel Tube for the last three years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Zanesville, the Zanesville Masonic Lodge, the Eagles in Shelby, the Owls, American Legion and the VFW. He was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Edna; his mother, Mrs. Bertha Vernon of New Concord and a sister, Mrs.

Dolph Veatch of Deland, Fla. Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Barkdull Funeral Home with the Rev. James Lumadue officiating. Burial will be in New Concord Cemetery at New Concord, 0, and graveside military honors will be conducted by the American Legion.

Halsey FREDERICKTOWN Mrs. Erma M. Halsey, 79, of 29 South Mulberry Fredericktown, died Friday afternoon at Martin Memorial Hospital in Mt. Vernon following a brief illness. She was born in Miller Township, Knox County, and had spent her entire life in the Knox County area.

She was a member of the Iris Chapter, Order of Eastern Star at Loudonville, and the Fredericktown Presbyterian Church. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Dalene Durieux of Fredericktown; two grandchildren and one brother, Carl Robinson of Centerburg. Services will be held Monday, 1 p.m., at the Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown, with the Rev. William R.

Grace Evelyn Day, 72, of Townline Rd. 131 near Willard. died last night at her home where she had been ill for some time. She was born in Bucyrus, but spent most of her life in the Willard area. She was a former employe of Fanny Farmer Candy Shops Inc.

Mrs. Bader MT. GILEAD Mrs. Charlotte R. Bader, 85, of 173 North Rich Mt.

Gilead, died Friday afternoon at the Chesterville Convalescent Home where she had lived for the past year. A native of Union County, she was the last of nine children. She was a former resident of the Marion Denmark areas and moved to Mt. Gilead in 1945. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and the WSCS of the church.

While in Denmark, she was a Sunday School teacher for 30 years. She was a member of the 20th Century Club, King's Daughters, and was a charter member of the Camann Grange. She is survived by three sons, LeRoy of Mt. Gilead, Don of Mt. Gilead and Lowell of Edison; nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home in Mt. Gilead. with her pastor, the Rev. Harold T.

Milford officiating. Burial will be in Marion Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home starting Sunday noon. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.

L. W. Marsh NEW LONDON Leon- ard W. Marsh, 55, of 47 East New London, died early today at the Cleveland Clinic after a long illness. He lived in the New London area all his life.

He was a retired dairy farmer and was employed at the Perfection Screw and Manufacturing Co. in New London. He is survived by his wife, Sally; two daughters, Mrs. Don (Mona) Brazie of New London and Melanie of the home; five sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Dorothy) Bone of Akron, Mrs.

Edward (Leah) Stover of New London, Mrs. Thomas (Shirley) McCoppin of New London, and Norma Marsh, all of New London and Mrs. Ralph (Ann) Walker of Lakewood; two brothers, Lewis and Ted. and his mother, Mrs. Hazel Marsh, all of New London.

He is thought to be the oldest active fireman in Ohio. (UPI Photo) Fireman Dies of Injuries John Earl Kvochick, 44, of 2054 Willowwood South, Ontario, died in Mansfield General Hospital this morning. Mr. Kvochick was injured in an accident while making a run for the Springfield Township Fire Department over a year ago and his death was a result of these injuries. He was born in Mansfield June 25, 1928, and had lived in this area all his life.

Mr. Kvochick was an employe of Fisher Body, was a member of UAW Local 549, a member of the Springfield Township Volunteer Fire Department and a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the United States Army and been awarded the Purple Heart. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Bister Kvochick; two daughters, Mrs. Donna Joann Virgila of Ashland and Miss Susan Diane Kvochick at home; one son James at home; His parents, Mr.

and Mrs. John Kvochick, 139 Sturges sisters, Mrs. Eugene Smith, Mrs. Ruth Weirich and Miss Peggy Ann Kvochick, all of Mansfield, and Mrs. Loretta Halbrook of Butler; three brothers, Robert of Mansfield, Raymond of Perrysville and Jack of Butler.
