Robert B. Barr. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Mrs.

Jones CRESTLINE Mrs. Mattie Jones, 89, of 318 East Bucyrus died Friday at Crestline Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 17, 1882, in Forsyth, Ga. She was the oldest member of African Methodist Episcopal Turner Chapel in Crestline and a member also of its missionary society and mothers' group.

She had been president of its stewardess board. Surviving are one daughter, Miss Lillian Jones, of Mansfield: six grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren: 25 great- great grandchildren; two brothers, C. B. Brown, of Birmingham, and Roosevelt Brown, of New York, and two sisters, Mrs. Dora Bentley, of Birmingham, and Mrs.

Arnett Mrs. Myrtle B. Arnett. wife of LeRoy Arnett, of 2670 Park Avenue East. died Saturday morning in People's Hospital after a fivemonth illness.

Mrs. Arnett was born in Bloomer, Wis. and lived here the past 18 years. She was an employe of the Essex Wire a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW and Amvets and a volunteer worker for the American Red Cross.

Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Dean McIntire of Chicago, and Duane McIntire of Cleveland; a of grandchildren; brother, Leonard Bohl of Lake Clair, and two sisters, Mrs. Tony Fnatti of Bloomer, Wis. and Mrs. Alvina David of Chicago. Funeral services, in charge of the Wappner Funeral Directors, are incomplete.

A preliminary investigation by Koppers of Pittsburgh, which erected the plant for Weirton Steel, showed that leaking gas was reported in the immediate blast area shortly before the first major explosion that sent a shower of twisted steel girders and cement fragments showering down on a number of workmen. Morgart was. past president of the Ohio Christian Endeaver Society (1969-70) and was presently on the state board of the society and a member of the nominating committee for 1973.

Effie A. Koppe, 87, widow of Charles A. Koppe, of 132 Orange died Saturday morning in Galion Community Hospital. A native of Mt. Gilead, she was a member of St.

Mark's Lutheran Church, Women's Society of the Church, Christian Service Club, Golden Age Club and a charter member of the Tourist Club. For many year's she worked 1 as a legal Secretary in Galion. Surviving are a step-son, Charles Koppe of St. Petersburg, and one niece. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m.
