Fight Three' Major Fires Flames Destroy Cleveland Plant CLEVELAND (UPI) Cleveland's east side was hit by three large fires Wednesda wholesale of which electric destroyed supply Sid firm and caused damage estimated at nearly $1 million. Early today weary firemen were still on the scene of the fire which hit the Leff H. Electric Co. about 8:30 p. m.

MAN OVERCOME John Robbinson, 31, a fireman, was overcome by smoke and was rushed to Charity Hospital for treatment. Wednesday afternoon a fire hit an apartment building, causing an estimated $100,000 damage and leaving 70 persons homeless. The fire broke out in the basement of the building and spread through the entire structure.

The Red Cross housed the homeless at the Majestic Hotel and said it would provide clothing and food orders for those burned out of the building. The 19 families in the building lost all their possessions in the blaze.
