250 Raiders Storm Plant In Michigan Non-Strikers Get Beatings KALAMAZOO, Mich. INS Nearly 250 men wearing CIO lapel buttons stormed adjoining plants of the strike-bound Shakespeare company today and spread a reign of terror for an hour and a half. The invaders overturned cars and attacked non-strikers with abandon. Police Chief Howard W. Hoyt reported that the dozens of cars carrying demonstrators bore license plates with pre-fixes issued in the Detroit area.

The classes will be held in the Senior high school pool at 7 p. m.

the first and third Thursday of each month. starting tomorrow and continuing through March. There will be classes for beginners and intermediates and an extra period for those who desire to swim without instruction. The classes are open 10 all Mansfield women of -high school age. A fee of $3 will be charged for the series of eight instruction periods.

A special charge will be those who swim during the period when no instruction is given. All women who plan to enroll in the classes must have a physical examination. The YWCA is making arrangements for Dr. Mabel Emery to give the examinations. The examinations will be the standard health tests used in YWCA's all over the country and will be good in any YWCA for a period of one year.

Amvets Mark Peace Day Peace Day. Sunday, Dec. 5, will be observed by Mansfield Amvets who will attend services in a body at the First Lutheran church at 9:45 a. m. Rev.

Carveth P. Mitchell. pastor of the church, will give a welcoming talk to Amvets and preach on the subject, "The Man Who Criticized the Church." The service is for all veterans of the city. Amvet officials said today. It is being held two days prior to Pearl Harbor day.

Music for the service will be provided by members of the Harmony choir of the church under the direction of A. Lemoine Derr. Boals Downtown Traffic Commissioner Frend C. Boals, who was stricken with a heart attack in September, was downtown yesterday. He visited the city building, saying hello to his fellow workers.
