Miss Santerre Mr. Donnan. RELATIVES AND FRIENDS received word this week of the engagement and approaching wedding of former Mansfielder, Jack Anderson Donnan, and Miss Maureen Delores Santerre, both students at the University of Rhode Island, Kingston. Mr. and Mrs.

Ellsworth C. Donnan, former Mansfield residents, of Huntington Woods, entertained at an open house in honor of their son and his fiancee. The wedding is planned for Aug 30 at the Catholic Center Chapel, University of Rhode Island. Miss Santerre is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

John Santerre of Rockville, R. I. She was graduated from Norwich (Conn.) Free Academy and attended Notre Dame College, Manchester, N. H. She is majoring in English.

Mr. Donnan is a research assistant in food and resourse economics at the University of R.I., where he is working toward a Ph.D in marine resource economics. He received a bachelor of arts degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and a master's degree from Michigan State University. He spent two years in Laos with the International Voluntary Service. Gilbert A FORMAL WEDDING is being planned by Miss Jean Lynn Warner and her fiance, John Ezra Gilbert, for Dec. 27. The couple will recite nuptial vows in the First United Methodist Church of Dayton. Mr. and Mrs.

Richard Thomas Warner, 6076 Romaine Dayton, are announcing their daughter's betrothal to the son of Joseph E. Gilbert. West Alexandria, and the late Mrs. Gilbert. Miss Warner attended Ball State University, Muncie, and received her bachelor of science degree in education from Ashland College where her sorority was Delta Zeta.

She has accepted a position as art instructor in the Ontario School System. Also a graduate of Ashland College, the prospective bridegroom was a valedictorian of his graduating class in 1967. He received a bachelor of arts degree and affiliated with Sigma Nu Fraternity and Gamma Alpha Kappa Honorary. Mr. Gilbert also attended the School of Sacred Music of the Union Thelol Theological Seminary, New York City.

He is organist at the First Congregational Church of Mansfield and recreational activities co-ordinator at Mansfield General Hospital. Miss Stumbaugh Mr. Belcher THE ENGAGEMENT OF Miss Sondra Stumbaugh and Julius W. Belcher Jr. is being announced today by the bride elect's parents, Mr.

and Mrs. Blaine Stumbaugh, Snyder Loudonville. A September wedding is being planned by Miss Stumbaugh and the son of Mrs. John Harbin, Rhinehard Bellville, and Julius Belcher Mansfield. Miss Stumbaugh is a graduate of Loudonville High School.

She also is a graduate of Mansfield Beauty College and an employe of the Don Mar Beauty Salon. Her fiance, a graduate of Clear Fork High School, has completed a tour of duty in Vietnam. He is stationed at Fort Lee, with the Army. Wedding guests gathered at the First United Presbyterian Church yesterday afternoon for the formal wedding of Miss Mary Jo Oberlin and Lurton Andrew Gifford. Dr.

J. Calvin Winder officiated for the double ring ceremony which united in marriage the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph K. Oberlin, 1051 Devonwood and the son of Mr.

and Mrs. Lurton E. Gifford, 20941' Erie Rocky River. The bride wore a floor length mantilla of re embroidered alencon lace over English net which belonged to her sister in law, Mrs. David Kent Oberlin.

To complete her ensemble, the bride selected a gown of ivory silk organza over peau styled along empire lines. Mrs. Oberlin preceded her sister in law to the altar as honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Mrs. David Austin Beanblossom, sister of the bridegroom, Mrs.

Douglas Griebling, Miss Cathy Lewis, Miss Kathy Smith and Miss Joel Todd. Mr. Gifford was his son's best man. Guests were escorted to their pews by Kent Oberlin, Austin, Douglas Hurley, David Jensen, and Edward K. Schneider.

After the ceremony a reception was held at Kirk Hall for 150 guests. When the newlyweds return from honeymooning in Bermuda, they will reside at 875 South First Ann Arbor, Mich. The bride was graduated from Lexington High School and Miami University where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She has enrolled in the University of Michigan Graduate School and will teach at Annapolis High School, Dearborn Heights, Mich. A cum laude graduate of Miami University, the bridegroom was tapped for membership in Phi Beta Kappa.

A member of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity, Mr. Gifford is a second year law student at the University of Michigan. He is a member of the Michigan Law Review and the Navy ROTC.
