She retired from the former Lumbermen's David P. Moyer GALION David P. Moyer, of 2054 Ohio 598, died in an auto accident on Ohio 19 east of Bucyrus on Friday, Sept. 15, 1995. He was born June 12, 1958 in Galion and was a 1975 graduate of Colonel Crawford High School.

He was owner of P.M Automotive Sale in Galion. He was a member of the Bucyrus Elks and the Bucyrus Country Club Golf League. He was a supporter of the Crawford county Youth Golf, coached tee-ball in the YMCA League and Little League baseball. He was also an avid racquetball player. Surviving are two sons, Kyle Moyer of Ashland and Ryan Moyer of Bucyrus; his mother, Elizabeth Columbus of Galion; a brother, Clarence Moyer of Galion; his paternal grandmother, Anna Moyer of Crestline and a maternal grandmother, Elva Columbus of Galion.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence C. "Dude" Moyer. Calling hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home in Gabon where a wake service will be held at 8 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Clarence J. Keppler BUCYRUS Clarence J. Keppler, 96, of Fairview and formerly of 419 Jump Street, died Saturday, Sept. 16, 1995, at Bucvrus Community Hospital.

He was born June 19, 1899 in Crawford County to Gottlieb and Magdalena Burkey Keppler. He farmed in Chatfield and Holmes Township and worked at Lemert Elevator. He was a member of the Wayside Chapel. Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Fayne and Regis Jones and Janis Keppler, all of Bucvrus; five grandchildren, Regis W. Jones of Bucyrus, Candace M.

Jones of Cleveland Heights, Wilma A. and Jacqueline K. Jones, both living in Germany, and Matthew E. Jones of Boulder, five great-grandchildren and a sister, Rosa Sif ferlin of Shelby. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Anna Wagner, Helen Geiger and Ruth Shock.

Calling hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wise Funeral Home where services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Kevin Rothhaar. Burial will be in Brokensword Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wayside Chapel or to a charity of the donor's choice. HAMILTON Galion resident killed Geraldine M. Ilartman Richard MANSFIELD Geraldine M. Richard, 73, of 589 Heineman Boulevard, died Saturday, Sept. 16, 1995, at Mansfield General Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born May 26, 1922 in Mansfield to Fred J. and Eva M. Becker Hartman, both now deceased, and lived in Mansfield all her life. She was a 1940 Mansfield Senior High graduate. She had worked for the Mansfield Board of Education, was a dressmakerdesigner and retired from the Richland School Employees Credit Union with 18 years of service.

She was the secretary of the North Central Chapter Ohio Credit Union League. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Aldean E. and Larry Pruett of Mansfield; a son, Gary M. Richard of Mansfield, and two granddaughters, Allison and Laura Pruett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert E.

"Dick" Richard on Sept. 29, 1978, and a brother, Dwight Hartman. Friends may call at the Finefrock Funeral for one hour prior to services that will be held Tuesday at 8 p.m. by the Rev. Ted Blunk.

Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Preschool. Glenn E. Cantleberry MANSFIELD Glenn E. Cantleberry, 61, of 892 Expressview Drive, died Thursday, Sept.

14, 1995, at his home. He was born March 7, 1934, in Ashland, and had lived in this area all his life. He retired from General Motors with more than 35 years of service and was also a former employee of F.E. Meyer in Ashland and Crestview schools, He was a member of Olivesburg Methodist Church and the Sons of Herman Lodge. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors.

BUCYRUS Officials still are trying to determine the cause of a one-car crash that killed a Galion area resident Friday at 8:53 p.m. on Ohio 19. David Moyer, 37, of 2054 Ohio 598, Galion was pronounced dead at the scene. His 1992- Chevrolet Corvette hit a telephone pole on Ohio 19 just west of Ohio 602. Crawford County sheriffs deputies said Moyer, who was alone in the auto, was driving eastbound on Ohio 19 at a "an excessive rate" of speed when his car went off the right side of the road and hit the pole.

"Rusty" Hamilton and Clarence W. Hamilton, both of rMansfield; a sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Merl Barnes of Sanger, 11 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Milo Hamilton, on July 27, 1974; two brothers, Wallace and James Andrews; and two sisters, Isabelle Wiggins-Morris and Mae Hergatt, a grandson and a great-grandson. Calling hours are today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Finefrock Funeral Home.

A graveside services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Mansfield Memorial Park by Gary L. Proietti, pastor of the First Christian Church. Memorial contributions may be made to The Store, 59 S. Diamond or to the charity of the donor's choice.

Harold E. Beam JOHNSVILLE Harold E. Beam, 81, of Tampico, 111., a former Johnsville resident, died Saturday, Sept. 16, 1995, in Community Medical Center in Sterling, 111., after a short illness. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home.

Kate E. Jolliff JEROMESVILLE Kate E. Jolliff, 74, of 206 Township Road 2100, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 1995, at University Hospital in Columbus. She was born in Ashland County on Sept.

1, 1921, to John and Katie Deviney Etzwiler, both now deceased. She was a member of the Lakefork United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, William A. Jolliff, who she married on Jan. 26, 1942; two daughters, Cathy (Charlie) Jolliff and Susan Kanzig, both of Mansfield; a son, William A.

Jolliff of Jeromesville; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five sisters, Emma Hootman of Jeromesville, Cotta McFarland of Butler, Nina Becker of Burbank, Olive Dessenberg of Lakefork, and Ona Stoudenheimer of Ashland, and a special friend, Bonnie, of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by a sister, Alma Etzwiler. Calling hours are Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fickes Funeral Home, where services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. by Pastor Don Young.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bucyrus YMCA. C. JoAnn Mays MANSFIELD C. JoAnn Mays, 55, of 3068 Marion-Waldo Road, Marion, and a former Mansfield resident, died Friday, Sept. 15, 1995 in Riverside Hospital in Columbus.

She was born Jan. 25, 1940, in Olive Hill, to Jerry and Nannie Bowling Carroll, both now deceased. She worked 24 years as an operating room technician, retiring from the Med Center in Marion in 1994. She lived in Marion the past 39 years, coming there from Mansfield. Surviving are her husband, Manuel Mays two sons, Richard A.

and David W. Buck, both of Marion; three daughters, Karen J. Buck of Greenville, S.C., Teresa O. Miller and Linda S. Massie, both of Marion; two stepdaughters, Lisa Dailey of South Point, and Kathy Woodrum of Hollywood, 13 grandchildren; a brother, Jerry F.

Carroll of Mansfield; and five sisters, including Nellie Trebacz and Travis "Jo" Goodnight, both of Mansfield. Calling hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Boyd Funeral Home, 122 West Columbia Marion, where services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Kent Jaquette.

Maxine Harvey, 26, of 1582 Sassafras drove into the intersection and collided with the bus, which was carrying 16 high school students. No one was injured.
