1 Lucille McBride Harris Kostantina Gasuras Alice I. Sherer Zimmerman GALION Alice I. Zimmerman, 81, of 100 Linden Drive died Friday in Galion Community Hospital after a long illness. She was born March 17, 1912, in Galion to Harry A. and Ida Weaver Sherer.

A 1928 graduate of North Robinson High School, Mrs. Zimmerman worked as a dress designertailor at Galion Garment She was a member of First United Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the Women's Guild and other organizations. She was a former Galion Country Club trustee, past matron and member of the Naomi Chapter 47 Order of the Eastern Star, first president of Women's Auxiliary Twig 7 and founder of the Junior Auxiliary Ccandy stripers) group at the hospital. She also assisted with the MANSFIELD Lucille Harris, 75, of 234 E. Second St died Saturday morning at Mansfield General Hospital after a long illness.

She was born March 23, 1918, in Columbus, to John and Viola Hayes McBride, both now deceased. Mrs. Harris lived in Mansfield for 45 years and was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and had been self-employed. She is survived by her husband, Willie L.

Harris, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Calling hours will be Monday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Williams Funeral Services, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. by the Rev.

Archie Johnson Jr. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery. Bruno Sgambellone MANSFIELD Bruno Sgambellone, 64, of 118 Lind Ave. died Friday evening In Mansfield General Hospital. He was born Oct.

8, 1928, In Aliquippa, to Dominic and Angeline Flutzy Sgambellone. An Army veteran of World War IL Mr. Sgambellone came to Mansfield in 1945 and worked for Dominion Electric for 26 years. He was the owner of Polishing Co. for 14 years and then was manager of the Silver Slipper Lounge.

He was a member of St Peter's Catholic Church, Sons of Italy and American Legion McVey Post 16. He is survived by his wife, Elsie Hesson Sgambellone; two daughters, Kathy Anderson of Albert Lea, and Darlene Schluter of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Eric and Erin Anderson and John and Jena Schluter, three brothers, Anthony Sgambellone of Lucas, and James and Samuel Sgambellone, both of Mansfield; and a sister, Hose Keisllng of Naples, Fla. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph. Calling hours are today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Geiger-Herlihy BUCYRUS Kostantina Gasuras, 90, formerly of Bucyrus, died Friday evening in Athens, Greece.

She was born in 1903 in Ambellakion, Greece. She was married to Nicholas Gasuras, who preceded her in death in December 1966. The couple were former residents of Bucyrus before returning to their home in Greece. Surviving are four sons, Timothy Gasuras of Mansfield, William Gasuras of Bucyrus, and Christopher and Thomas Gasuras of Athens, Greece; three daughters, Effie Laipply of Marion and Catherine and Stavroula of Athens, Greece; 12 grandchildren, including Christopher Gasuras and Kimberly Gasuras Keller of Bucyrus, Jackie and Steve Laipply of Marion, Nickolas Gasuras of Lexington, and Tina Theodourou of Lexington; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister in Greece. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister in Greece.

Funeral services will be held Monday in Athens. A memorial service will be held at a later date by the family at Sts. Constantine Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Mansfield. Galion Red Cross Bloodmobiles and was involved with the Girl Scouts, serving on the regional board. In 1963 she was voted Woman of the Year by the Galion Business Professional organization.

She is survived by her husband, Chester, whom she married May 29, 1931; a sister, Florence White of Galion; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Eugene E. and Virginia Sherer of Galion, and Glen and Maxine Sherer of Eldon, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Sherer. There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m.

at First United Church of Christ by the Rev. Sam Buehrer. Burial will be in Fair-view Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Church of Christ Memorial Endowment Fund. Karl Maul NEW WASHINGTON Karl Maul, 69, of East Mansfield Street died Saturday at Bucyrus Community HospitaL Arrangements are pending at Secor Funeral Home in in New Washington.

New hours for driving test station MANSFIELD New office hours at the Mansfield Driver's License Examination Station have been announced. According to Lt S. J. Thompson of the Mansfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, effective Oct 5 the station will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

Beatrice Smith Bowersock WEST SALEM Beatrice Bowersock, 68, of West Salem died Friday morning at Wooster Community Hospital. She was born Jan. 19, 1925, in Red Haw to Clayton and Josephine Shukers Smith, both now deceased. Mrs. Bowersock was a member of Perry Township Homemakers, Senior Citizens and 50 Plus of West Salem, the West Salem United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women's Society.

Her hobbies were knitting, crocheting, crafts of all kinds, crossword puzzles, sending birthday and get well cards, reading, playing piano and organ, and taking pictures. She graduated from Polk School with 12 years perfect attendance and also played the piano in the school grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence R. Wachtel, on June 13, 1985; a stepson, Richard Wachtel; and a brother, Roscoe Snyder. Calling hours will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Main St, Ashland 44805. Lillie Mae Snyder Wachtel LOUDONVILLE Lillie Mae Wachtel, 88, formerly of 110 W. Pendleton died late Friday evening at Colonial Manor Health Care Center No. 1 after a long illness. She was born Sept 23, 1907, in Green Township to Grover and Sarah Brecheisen Snyder.

Mrs. Wachtel was a homemaker and a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She is survived by two sons, Harold Wachtel of Loudonville and Paul Wachtel of Wooster; a daughter, Delores Baum of Loudonville; four LQ) vS7 Miriam V. Fauser BUCYRUS Miriam V. Fauser, 86, of 3273 Shearer Road died Saturday morning at Bucyrus Community Hospital.

She had been ill the past five years. She was born Sept 22, 1907, to Emmanuel P. and Mary Elizabeth Rexroth Fauser. A lifelong area resident and a graduate of Whetstone High School, she was a homemaker. She was a member of St John's Reformed Church of Christ the former Whetstone Grange for 50 years, and Women of the Moose Bucyrus Chapter 741.

She is survived by a sister, Gertrude Dinkle of Bucyrus; a nephew and his wife, Norman and Roberta Dinkle of Gal ion; two great-nieces and a great-nephew; three great-great-nephews and two great-great-nieces; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, Wilbur. Calling hours will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, where Women of the Moose services will be recited at 6:45. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m.
